Hey folks, aXs Glass here
I know it has been a while since my last blog but no lie I do have some things to tell you.
As you all know I am now apart of the aXs Staff and I am very excited to be apart of them. I cannot wait to get things underway with a stream and getting games in with other staff. At this point I have been playing a lot of Halo and Black Ops. Not gonna lie as frustrating as Halo is, I like Halo better and I always will, thats just me.
Recently, I lost a friend and basically a brother to me. He was killed in Afghanistan while driving and was killed by an IED. Needless to say these last couple weeks have been very very hard for me to handle, especially the funeral. I honestly dont think I have cried so much in my life than what I did that day. A couple days after the funeral, I got a tattoo in memorial of him so that way I dont need to look at pictures just to remember him. Now all I need to do is look down at my forearm and he's there. This weekend was fun being the 4th of July and all. I ended up hanging with friends, family and had a lot of fun. Cookouts movies and what not. Only bad thing is, my little red headed butt got "colored." So yeah I am a little crispy at this point lol. My town had a parade in honor of my friend and it was awesome. Seeing a whole town honor someone that was very close to me was very touching.
Right now I am in the middle of a 2 week break from school and I am due to go back on the 11th. My classes will be a pain but I know once I get through it, it will be well worth it. One class I am looking forward to is my Game Modelling Class. Basically I will be able to make the characters you see in games today along with weapons and clothing and what not. I AM EXCITED! My other class I am not sure what to think of it, but I will be working my butt off.
Thats basically it folks! If you guys wanna get some games in, hit me up, GT- aXs Glass. Halo, COD, Gears I got them. Even if its friendly competitive matches I will be glad to spectate of be apart of.

Happy 4th of July. Sorry to hear about your Friend, it was the same with my Grandma a couple of years ago.

Your friend is looking down on you smiling and I believe with all my heart you will meet up with him again someday. Nice blog, Glass. Keep them coming, and.......GET OFF THE GAME!

Great blog Glass. I am sorry about the loss of your friend and brother but the memorial tattoo you had done is amazing. Keep on beasting on Halo. And enjoy all the fun with working with MAYA and Mudbox in your classes ... can't wait to see some of your characters
