So those of you who haven't heard JTV's Gaming section has been moved to Twitch Tv. You will still see that under JTV that their gaming section is still up and can still view it on JTV but they will be completely removing it after a period of time. Twitch Tv however is still a part of JTV and for those of you who have twitter and are following @JTV Gaming, they tweeted that they will eventually close out that twitter to Twitch Tv.

I think the whole transition was a good idea because JTV's gaming section has grown over the coming years. I've been with JTV for about 2 almost 3 years and have noticed that growth. The video player is still the same and the whole chat section in the channel is the same also. Most importantly you can now see a video log of previous live stream and also video clips (glad they brought that back). Smiley's did change on there and they have been using these weird robot emoticons instead of the monkey faces. At first it was a bit disorienting because you dont know the buttons to where you can see viewers but after a while and a bit of exploring you will get used to the layout.

Ads are still there for JTV partnership streams and if you want to avoid them you can always use Better Twitch Tv. It works the same as Better JTV with the expanded chat screen. In addition to the expanded chat they brought back the monkey emoticons they had on JTV. Also they put the channel info at the bottom first instead of having the video log loaded.
