I am seeing this tactic more and more in CTF GB. Teams are sacrificing map control apart from one avenue so that more people can cover the flag carrier. ! normally defense, 2 watching the route and 2 running. The 2 running cover each other then the first route defender pulls back and covers them, basically escorts them to the flag. I can't really suggest a way around this method, maybe just try to disrupt their setup early in the map as it is a hard tactic to adapt.

I was in a pub match where there was 2 people around flag carrier and there was no way to get the flag back lol

Sounds like time for the noob tube. I know its frowned upon. Maybe its not allowed in GB? I'm not up on all the GB rules. I seen this tactic deployed as well yesterday. They were close together and subject to get taken down by some type of frag device. Another suggestion is to have all member nade em once they start the run. I don't know if it will work. Maybe a few trial practice runs using this strat will give a answer...

Side trac just stayed on their flag everyone made the mistake to rush flag and they had one run and get flag while we rushed and died that left gaps fr te other team we were all distraught from playing lethal talentz and wanted to really give these guys the dook.

Side Trac isnt that good man I was amazed at how you guys lost this one.
They were really disorganised but so were you after being delt that blow with Lethal Talent.
I think you wanting to dook on Side Trac that you kind of gave up all organisation and just made thesame mistake with Lethal Talent and from what I've seen that was giving up all map control and blindly rushing into the flag.
The key thing is though, learn from your mistakes and apply them in your next GB matches.

shit happens..you have your good games and your bad games ya know...a series of mistakes and not being where people were suppose to be and thats it..we learn from thing like that and move on to the next challenge.

This is my honest opinion on what happens int eh CTF Games, and Karizen said he saw it as well. We have people designated in certain areas of the map. What happens is they get bored because they are getting no action so they leave there spot, or they die and not let anyone know that they died and then there is no one in that spot to cover that area of the map. If there are two flag runners then when soemone dies in a certain part of the map the seciond flag runner needs to stop and come back to that guys spot and cover it till he is back. Its just about moving your guys to every avenue of approach. I think it was one here that Six really brought it to life and had it explained really well.
